“I wait for the best light, in the golden hours before sunrise and sunset, or in the aftermath of a storm. I hope to increase appreciation of natural and built environments by sharing the beauty of these places.”
Dale Blank, a Massachusetts native now living in Gloucester, can often be found roving the shoreline with a camera. Cape Ann light imbues her landscapes and abstractions. Dale is a graduate of Brandeis University and a member of the Cambridge and Rockport Art Associations (both juried admission), the Rocky Neck Art Colony and Newburyport Art Association. Her award-winning photography has appeared in numerous associations’ calendars and visitors' guides. She has received multiple awards for her photography. She has held solo shows and participated in juried shows and exhibitions (view highlights). Dale's work, including limited edition prints and cards and the annual Cape Ann Calendar, is sold at many venues on the North Shore including:
